Sometimes the lawn mows you

Sellers on Facebook really don’t get embarrassed by much. Least of all the junk that’s junking up their yards.
You don’t say.
Jack, I hope she didn’t actually make you pay $10 for this hunk. In fact I hope she paid YOU $10 to take it away.
Consider this. This seller is so unembarrassed about the state of the junk in her yard that not only does she not move it for years despite the likelihood that it’s an eyesore for her neighbors, and probably is housing a family of mice, but she took a photo of it and posted it on Facebook. She chose not to remove the debris or the weeds, but instead advertise what a lousy groundskeeper she is.
Yep. Ten dollars sounds about right. I think that’s the protocol when your lawn and ground cover start covering your old lawn mower, and the machinery becomes one with the earth. That amount should cover Jack’s efforts to hack away the dead ivy vines or whatever and remove that thing.
Next time, April, maybe try mowing the lawn and you won’t have that pesky problem with running vines. But I’m sure my judgment about yard tidiness is falling on deaf ears. I look forward to seeing a Volkswagen Beetle for sale, covered in morning glories.
I can only hope.
